Since the #selfie internet craze is on the loose, I would like to set this edition of my “TOP-Silogs” to the SELFIE CRAZE! I am not against the Selfie, it’s the selfishness. We must ask God to help us, guide us and teach us in realizing selfishness in our hearts. Remember, Our God is so selfless and unconditional that He gave fully His only Son for us, right?
So here are my TOP-SILOGS insights about #SELFIE:
1. Selfie must be restricted to photography and must not be brought to your heart…
Psalm 119:36 Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
2. Selfie may be a worldwide trending on twitter but must not be “trend” to your life.
Rom 2:8 but wrath and anger to those who live in selfish ambition and do not obey the truth but follow unrighteousness.
3. Selfie may be viewed in all picture posts in facebook but not be “viewed” by others and by God on your deeds in real life.
Php 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
4. We must not be the selfie(selfish) Generation
2 Tim. 3:1-4 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God–
5. Christians must have selfless faith, not selfy on faith

Your old selfish desires are changed by the time Jesus invaded your life. It’s not “all about you” but “all about JESUS.
JESUS > YOU (Jesus is greater than You)
Selfie on faith also means, not sticking to yourself the faith that you received from Jesus….. SHARE THAT FAITH, SHARE JESUS TO OTHERS. Ipaexperience din natin sa iba ung faith na natanggap mo by sharing Jesus, not being selfie on it.
Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
6. Remember that we don’t have a SELFIE GOD
Can I get an AMEN for that? HALLELUJAH! Thank you LORD!
He gave Jesus for us! Not only that – He also opened heavens for us. The favor and love of God is always for men, THAT’S HOW SELFLESS OUR GOD IS. Amazing isn’t it? That’s How he loves us!
